Some of my earliest memories in life are, well, reading books! As an adult, reading has continued to provide me knowledge, entertainment, connection, and more.
I couldn't be more proud of the two-fold approach we take to our work at Literacy Works: supporting adult literacy and learning programs in best serving their students while also making everyday vital services and resources more accessible and equitable through clear, human-centered communication.

We are on a mission to raise $30,000 for adult literacy! Throughout the week of May 9th-13th, we will be showcasing our work and honoring some outstanding community members. Your gift will support Literacy Works' vision that one day literacy will be recognized as a basic human right that will uplift people along their journey to read, write, and interpret the world.
Added bonus! All donors during the Week of Giving will be invited to attend our upcoming virtual Read with Literacy Works event featuring award-winning author of 13 books, Luis Urrea. The event will take place live on Zoom, Monday, May 16th, at 7:00pm CDT.
