During this Week of Giving, I am raising funds to support Literacy Works' Community Literacy and Clear Language Lab programs.
I have been so impressed by the great work Literacy Works is doing, I recently agreed to serve as it's Board President. Please help me reach my goal of raising at least $1,000 to expand access to education and clear communication!
We are on a mission to raise $30,000 for adult literacy! Throughout the week of May 9th-13th, we will be showcasing our work and honoring some outstanding community members. Your gift will support Literacy Works' vision that one day literacy will be recognized as a basic human right that will uplift people along their journey to read, write, and interpret the world.
Added bonus! All donors during the Week of Giving will be invited to attend our upcoming virtual Read with Literacy Works event featuring award-winning author of 13 books, Luis Urrea. The event will take place live on Zoom, Monday, May 16th, at 7:00pm CDT.
