I'm honored everyday to be working at Literacy Works, an organization that is invaluable to the adult education field. Please help me reach my personal fundraising goal of $500 to support the very important work we do to advance adult education - giving people the tools they need to access information and thrive in our society.
Thank you for your support and I hope to also see you at our first in-person fundraising event since 2019, A Book That Changed My Life, on May 19th!
Literacy Works is on a mission to raise $35,000 during our Week of Giving! From May 15th-19th, we will be highlighting the many ways that our community uplifts equity through adult education and clear communication. Your gift will support our programs and vision that one day literacy will be recognized as a basic human right, uplifting people along their journey to read, write, and interpret the world.
We will cap off our campaign with our signature event, A Book That Changed My Life, at Sketchbook Brewery in Skokie on Friday, May 19th! Tickets are $25 and your registration will go toward our overall goal. Register now for this fun event hosted by Tony Sarabia! Thank you for your generosity!
