Literacy Works is on a mission to raise $35,000 during our Week of Giving! From April 28th - May 2nd, 2025, we will be highlighting the many ways that our community advances adult education and communication equity. Your gift will support our programs and vision that, one day literacy will be recognized as a basic human right, uplifting people along their journey to read, write, and interpret the world. We will cap off our campaign with our signature event, A Book That Changed My Life, at Sketchbook Brewery in Skokie on Friday, May 2nd! Tickets are $25 and your registration will go toward our overall goal. Register now for this incredible event hosted by Nestor Gomez! This year, we will be celebrating our immigrant and first generation communities through our lineup of storytellers. Thank you for your generosity!
