About This Workshop
This Skill-Builder Workshop is part 2 of 6 on Writing in Plain Language.
Avoiding the passive voice is one of the most common pieces of advice on writing in plain language. But what is the passive voice? And why is it a problem?
It’s ok if you don’t remember that particular day of 7th grade English. Join this workshop to learn about:
✅ How to identify passive voice
✅ Why it can make texts more challenging
✅ How to rewrite text in active voice
For our demonstration, we’ll practice identifying and revising several examples of passive voice.
