About our Community of Practice

Clear Language Lab Community of Practice is FREE and open to everyone.

Every other month we get together to talk about communication equity. Each meeting has either a presenter or discussion topic. We always leave time for questions and feedback. 

This is great space for anyone interested in:

• Getting feedback on documents they're revising

• Learning from the plain language work of others

• Receiving our bimonthly plain language resource email

• Discussing hot topics in the world of plain language & communication

You only need to register once. Then, we'll add you to our Community of Practice Google Group. We use this group to keep in touch between meetings, share resources, and send out calender reminders with the event Zoom link.

New to Communities of Practice?

Communities of Practice are groups that meet regularly to provide support, collaboration, and shared learning opportutnities around a specific topic or issue. Our goal is to create a space where folks can ask questions, share support, and explore new ideas related to plain language and communication equity. 

Our group is discussion based and open. We do our best to make it a welcoming and inclusive space so everyone can participate, regardless of their background or experience with plain language. You don't have to commit to every meeting - come when you can and participate however you're most comfortable.
