Description
About This Workshop
This Skill-Builder Workshop is part 4 of 6 on Writing in Plain Language.
Pronouns are an essential part of the English language. We use them all the time, often without realizing it. They help us talk about a person, place, thing, or idea without having to repeat their names over and over. But, if we’re not careful in our writing, our audience might get confused about who or what we’re talking about.
In this workshop, we’ll explore when pronouns can be confusing and how to use them clearly and effectively. We’ll also cover some common misconceptions about using pronouns correctly.
Join us to learn about:
✅ The role of pronouns in communication
✅ When pronouns might confuse our audience
✅ How to use pronouns clearly in your writing
For our demonstration, we’ll practice identifying ineffective or confusing uses of pronouns and revising sample texts to be clearer.
