Description

Communication is a Two-Way Street: How Organizations Can (and Should) Prioritize Effective, Equitable Communication

Financial literacy, media literacy, and digital literacy - these are terms we hear often, usually referring to a person’s ability to navigate, understand, and use specific information effectively.

In this session, we are flipping the script and considering the idea of organizational literacy. We will explore how organizations (and the people in them!) can take responsibility for the effectiveness of their systems and build a reflective practice that centers the needs of humans over the systems themselves.

In this webinar, we'll talk about:

✅  Recognizing how leading with an organizational literacy lens supports equity and accessibility

✅  Identifying key concepts around organizational health literacy and apply them to varied sector

✅  Reflecting on actions that you can take to make your systems work better for your community

This webinar is for everyone. Please note, the main audience is folks with decision making power at their organization, such as program managers, directors, and organization leadership or folks in any role interested in advocating for programmatic change.
